How do I use it?

GlitterWorld Prime allows you to trade with an online, real-time market through the regular in game trade dialog.

Requirements (Per map)

  • Microelectronic basics researched.
  • Build the GlitterWorld Prime console and Uplink found under the Misc category.
  • Have at least one orbital trade beacon.
  • The beacon and console must be powered.
  • There must be unroofed tiles near the beacon.
  • Have items in a stock pile in the range the beacon.
  • Have at least 300 silver for first transaction.

This is what they look like:

PrimeUplink

Materials required

The console costs:

  • 200 Steel
  • 6 Industrial Components

The uplink costs:

  • 100 Steel
  • 6 Industrial Components

Buying Items from GWP

  • The price you pay is the GlitterWorld Prime market value.
The price will increase / decrease with supply and demand.
  • Skills, health and difficulty don't affect the price.

Selling Items to GWP

  • Skills, health and difficulty don't affect the price.
  • You can sell any quality item to GWP and get the appropriate price.
E.g. Masterwork has a much higher value while awful is equally lower.
  • Sale price is affected by remaining hit points and scales linearly with damage, so 60% HP will give you 60% of market value.
